Dr. Brock is the proud owner and principal physician of Debut Aesthetics. After undergraduate studies at University of Toronto (International Relations) and McMaster (Biochemistry), he graduated from Queens Medical School in 1997 and went on to become double board certified in Family Medicine from UBC and subsequently Emergency Medicine from Dalhousie.
In 2014, after 15 years as a staff physician at the busiest ER in Canada, he felt it was time for a new challenge and trained for a career in aesthetic medicine. Over the last 11 years, he has seen more than 40,000 patients for injectable treatments, utilizing commercially available Health Canada Approved products in his practice. He has presented at multiple conferences and also spoken for Allergan, Fillmed, Crescita, Revanesse, Prollenium and has been on the advisory board for Galderma.
He has taught anatomy and filler courses and trained many other physicians in cosmetic procedures. His true passion is taking the time to connect with his patients helping them to achieve their personal aesthetic goals. He will put you at ease with his calm demeanour and sense of humour.
When not in the clinic, he can be found running and biking the trails of North Vancouver, out SUPing, or searching for powder on Whistler mountain during the winter months with his wife, Jill.
Jill’s career has been a journey of growth and transformation. Starting as a French teacher, she transitioned into sales with Xerox before taking on a leadership role, managing over 80 people for a National marketing company. After raising two wonderful daughters—one now in Montreal and the other in Toronto—she’s embarked on phase three: launching a business with her husband, Dr. Brock.
Outside of her professional life, Jill thrives in the great outdoors. Whether hiking, biking or paddling in Deep Cove, skiing, or traveling with her family, she values staying active and creating memories. With a deep passion for lifelong learning and change, Jill brings a wealth of experience, leadership, and an adventurous spirit to her new venture at Debut.
Alissa has spent the past year training under Dr. Brock in the area of medical aesthetics; as an RN. She approaches medical aesthetics with a philosophy of enhancing natural beauty, ensuring clients look and feel rejuvenated with a refreshed appearance.
Alissa is a highly experienced Nurse Practitioner with a distinguished career spanning over 20 years. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) with Distinction from the University of Victoria in 2001, she worked as a Registered Nurse specializing in Pediatric Palliative Care and Oncology. In 2006, Alissa advanced her expertise by obtaining a Master’s in Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from the University of Toronto. Over the past 19 years, she has served as a licensed Nurse Practitioner in a variety of fields, including Dermatology, Primary & Complex Care, and medical consultation for inpatient psychiatry at BC Children’s Hospital and is an Adjunct Professor at the University of British Columbia.
Outside of her professional life, Alissa is a dedicated wife and mother of two teenagers. She is passionate about the outdoors, spending her free time mountain biking, cycling, skiing, and hiking.
Nicole Fontaine is our distinguished Administrative Director with a stellar career exceeding 15 years in the dynamic field of medical aesthetics. Her journey is marked by unparalleled dedication and strategic leadership, positioning her as an indispensable force at Debut Aesthetics. Nicole’s unique blend of healthcare expertise and a keen eye for beauty makes her a standout figure in this captivating intersection.
Nicole’s warm energy and positive outlook extend beyond the clinic and into every aspect of her life. Whether she’s leading a team meeting, creating a stunning jacket design, or striking a yoga pose, Nicole radiates a contagious optimism that uplifts those around her. After graduating from nursing, she’s been working hand in hand with Dr. Brock for the past six years! She’s the ultimate beauty whisperer, effortlessly blending science and style to help clients shine brighter than ever. But wait, there’s more—off-duty, she’s a snowboarding sensation, tearing up the slopes with finesse, and a dance floor darling, grooving to the beat with unmatched flair. Back at home, Jenny’s the queen of comfort, ruling her domain alongside her majestic lion-like cat and an adorable army of stuffed animals.
